Marilyn Mercado was born is Southern California and is in her second decade of holistic and complimentary medicine. Initially she trained in Therapeutic Massage Techniques and went on to become a Holistic Health Practitioner. It was this work that led her to develop a greater interest in the Lymphatic System. In her quest for knowledge she decided to attend The Academy of Lymphatic Studies where she completed the Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Complete Decongestive Therapy Technique. While working in this field Marilyn heard about a medical device called the Lymphstar Pro which could assist and amplify the effects of her treatments. After investing in the Lymphstar Pro, Marilyn trained at The Center for Lymphatic Health with Allen Mills. She immediately noted that with the Lymphstar Pro treatment could be up to eight times faster than with MLD alone. Most recently she advanced her education by becoming certified in Lymphatic Enhancement Technology (LET) with Desiree DeSpong through Arcturas Medical. She has developed an amazing proficiency using the Lymphstar Pro, the Lympstar Pro Fusion and now the Letesse with MLD, which maximizes cellular repair functions by amplifying the detoxification process within the tissue.
